So before the use of seat belts was common, the airlines had to teach people how to use them.

And, of course, once a federal regulation is in force it is very difficult to get rid of it.
WOAH!! your dating yourself (and me!)

I remember putting in seatbelts in my 62 impala, and it was Cooooollll that I had them, because it made the car go much faster!!!

hehehehe

The think is FP is meant to reduce your wait time, not eliminate it. That is where we tend to run into SGs who complain they still had to wait 15 minutes to get on Soarin'. Considering that is 1/8th of the typical standby time that's not bad at all, and that is typically MAX. As long as your window has started you will be allowed to enter, even if it is past your window end time.

According to the ad for FastPass in the Epcot map I have here FastPass will cut the wait time and you can hop on the attraction with little or no waiting.

Nowhere does it say it will totally eliminate the wait time, just minimize it.

Once again, marketing is not always our friend. The ads for Disney and Universal speak of "skipping the lines". The parks are all walking distance from each other. It's never 100+ degrees in the shade. And Mickey is standing in front of the castle where your child can run right up to him. It's unfortunate but that's how it always has been (when have you ever seen a commercial for a product and had the product do exactly what they said it would?) and all we can do is attempt to educate the guests whenever they encounter those marketing embellishments in real life. The truly SGs are the ones who KNOW better but do things anyway, or those who don't WANT to know, prefering instead to remain blissfully ignorant of how their behavior affects other guests or cms.

I wondering if Disney is considering selling a "ALL ATTRACTIONS" fastpass? DW and I were getting on one attraction and saw the multi-attraction ones that had the tab you had to tear off and give to the attendant, but I think those are the ones that the "dreams" CMm's hand out.

(the funny part was, the wait was less that 10 minutes, and at the merge, it was a fast walk to the ride, as there were no lines backed up!!)

We always seem to get there at park opening, so really wouldn't need dream fastpasses.....would rather win lanyard and pin, or the DREAM SUITE! That would be great! :)

Yeah, DW and I don't think about that stuff. WE did see two dream CM's trying to talk to a couple at MGM last year, and I don't think that the couple spoke english, because they kept saying "how much" when the CM's were trying to hand them some ears.
