[quote="hobie16"]Reminds me of when it snowed in Malibu years ago. Half the residents were calling for the Porsche paramedics]

bpgstudios wrote:This sort of thing happened at Peter Pan a few months ago. Guest dropped his $1000 designer sunglasses in the ride. He asked Unload CM how he could get them back. Unload replied that we walk though at the end of the night and collect any lost items and bring them to lost and found. Wasn't a good enough answer for him. He walks down the exit, opens the door to Pan CDS (Our break room, Cast Members Only sign on the door and all) and proclaims "I lost my singlasses on the ride. What is the procedure now?" Well all of us on break pretty much tell him to leave in the "nicest" way possible  . One CM then stands by the door to keep him from coming back in... he keeps knocking. We call a manager and all that. SG wants us to stop PETER PAN in the middle of the day (70 minute standby, 20 minute FP) to go look for SUNGLASSES. Manager tells him no way, come back when we close and we'll go find them for you.
How selfish people can be...
It's not that, it's WHY YOU YOU BRING A $1000 PAIR OF SUNGLASSES TO A THEME PARK WHEN THEY CAN EASILY GET LOST?!?!?!?!?!?!
It reminds me of a time on GRR that I was on a raft and a teenage boy didn't want his $200 pair of sunglasses to get wet so he handed it to his parents. I mean, really!

ooo! Ooo! My husband has a reply to this and wanted me to share it. His response is, "Why would they do that? Because they're a pretentions p**ck who just wants to show off. That's why."
I knew I married him for a reason LOL.

I know, every time we ride the dino ride, we call it Indie, as that is what we ride the most. O.K. at DL, how about, "Why dosnt Disney..." Just cut and past!! :waves:

I am not sure whats worse a SG with no consideration for anyone else around them or a SG with absolutely not common sense. You see at KSR when guests drop valuables they prefer to just hop on out of the moving vehicles in the white rhino enclosure.

That is almost worthy of a Darwin award!
We used to be AP holders of the San Diego ZOO and WAP. They have this "truck photo safari" at the WAP, VERY sililar to WDW AK safari, except you are in the back of a stakebed and you are in a HUGE enclosure that does have rinos, giraffes, etc all throughout. DW and I finally took it, got sme great up-close photos. Of course we had a WAP SG with us, he dropped his (very expensive) camera while we were getting some up close shots of the rinos, who had "sauntered" over near the truck. (the keepers give them treats to encourage them to approach the truck) this SG actually asked one of the keepers to distract them while he would climb down and get his camera! (she declined) but we did drive off (with rinos in "tow") and had another keeper get it for him while they were distracted. He got it bak when we returned, it was totaled. (looked like it had been stepped on..or driven over!) They are very fussy about what is "introduced" into their compound! :pirate2:

This sounds like the description of a Farside cartoon.

This story is bull. I know indy like the back of my hand and if you e-stoped the attraction for L&F you would probably be termed. SOP is to cycle out the attraction then back up the jeeps and then hit a RIDE STOP!!!!! Not an E-stop. Big difference. E-stop requires a total sytem reset
