BRWombat - aside from being cheap, I dont see a problem. I just finished a Jack Sparrow costume for a guy who was 6'9" and 350 pounds. Being an 'odd shape', you get the ginea pig discount. Meaning since idont have a pattern for your size, i'll have to make one, so you pay for the materials and I get to keep the pattern and the knowledge. :)
WIsh I would have known about your costuming expertise sooner... I can't find a Capt'n hook in my size :( (big[actually... fat...lol] and tall) and I am supposed to go to MNSSHP on the 21st for my fiance's birthday (she's going as tink!)

as for when you are in the parks... I don't work this weekend (other than a park tour at 7:30am [thats right, i have been a CM for over a month, and still haven't had my park tour! lol]) So I won't be taking your picture during your trip. (that may be a good thing...hehe)

So, how was it?

Also, if your costume-making offer still stands, I would like to talk. Are your prices affordable to the average CM? :p:

People got really upset when we told them we couldnt take pics with them (disneys rules, not ours) It went like this:

SG: Can my son take a pic with you?
Jack Sparrow (CJS): I dont work for Disney, and cant take pics.
SG: yeah yeah I get it. Your "Jack Sparrow" now let my son take a pic
CJS: No no. Im a GUEST. I dont work here. I cant take pics, disney wont let me.
SG: Im going to guest relations! This is ridiculous!

As my mom and I were hanging out on mainstreet, we kept getting people who thought we were Mainstreet entertainment. Mostly the whole night, people thought we worked there, which is of course a HUGE compliment to me, the costumer! We had a blast!

I thought I saw you out there, but I was so damn busy trying to secure the castle from attack (aka Setting up ropes for fireworks) I couldn't say hello. Costumes looked wonderful though. One of my coordinators was wondering what a HOP CM and Jack was doing together out of Adventureland (That fabric pattern is extremely similar to Hall of Presidents).

Aw thanks! Thats sooooo funny, because we got that all night. People always thought we worked there... lol And my mom and I noticed on our last trip that the material from HOP and from the American Adventure at epcot is quite similiar to my material!
