tried to converse with a teenager these days? Between the texting and the street talk and not paying attention in school, it is amazing we can understand them at all, like a whole 'nother language. I know there are many kids who are bright and intelligent and can speak with clear sentences, but the majority I hear, especially when together in large herds sound like they come from another planet! :aliens: I guess the language works because I have NO idea what the hell they are talking about. Now I sound like MY mother about 35 years ago!

Foul language is a lazy way of speaking. They cannot think of any other word to describe what they are talking about. Having a thesaurus in school from the get-go should be mandatory, except that most of these texting teens won't even know how to pronounce thesaurus! :(

I think stickers are a GREAT idea for the little ones! Security carries them and have even given me them when I have gone up and chatted with them, nothing more than " Hi, how are ya, hope you have a trouble free day, yada, yada, yada...
Can you tell by now I LOVES me my CMs! All of em! I loved getting the stickers from the security guard, you can bet they are in my trip photo album along with a pic of the officer who gave them to me. I had hubby take a pic of me with him! I know, WHAT A DORK! :sparky:
