I think you would enjoy it alot.
I have lived 13 miles from DL all of my life and first went there when I was three years old. I used to go to DL daily for pin trading and to avoid my mother. I love the Toontown in DL especially at Christmas with the decorations. People do not take time to play with things and have fun.

although i don't work at a park, i do work as a cashier. i remember ringing up a man w/his 2 young children (about 4 & 6). the next 2 people on line were teenage boys about 15 or 16. they were conversing w/each other in vulgar language. i saw that the dad was upset, so i just said to them to please not use that language, there are 2 young children standing here. they were a little startled that i said something, and i was surprised they stopped. ordinarily one would expect them to shout back more obscenities. i cannot stand rude ignorant people who think they are the only ones who matter.

AWESOME!!!! Their vocabularies are so limited these days from their short attention spans that they probably stopped talking altogether, from lack of knowing any other words! Excellent that you did this. I hate to say it, but has anyone tried to converse with a teenager these days? Between the texting and the street talk and not paying attention in school, it is amazing we can understand them at all, like a whole 'nother language. I know there are many kids who are bright and intelligent and can speak with clear sentences, but the majority I hear, especially when together in large herds sound like they come from another planet! :aliens: I guess the language works because I have NO idea what the hell they are talking about. Now I sound like MY mother about 35 years ago! :old: :hysteria: She always got so mad when I would say something like "Far out, man!" She HATED being called "man"! :hysteria:
Foul language is a lazy way of speaking. They cannot think of any other word to describe what they are talking about. Having a thesaurus in school from the get-go should be mandatory, except that most of these texting teens won't even know how to pronounce thesaurus! :(
Uh-oh, I am beginning to talk like a mom and I NEVER even had any of the little money pits! :bawl: I guess the "mothering instinct" is an innate one in females! Of course I do have 4 kids that are very furry and have a language all their own... :felix: :garfield: :cat1: :cat2: Meow!

:dope: jr should have been greeted by security at the platform and removed from the Parks for the remainder of that day, along with the rest of his :dope: family!
I think stickers are a GREAT idea for the little ones! Security carries them and have even given me them when I have gone up and chatted with them, nothing more than " Hi, how are ya, hope you have a trouble free day, yada, yada, yada...
Can you tell by now I LOVES me my CMs! All of em! I loved getting the stickers from the security guard, you can bet they are in my trip photo album along with a pic of the officer who gave them to me. I had hubby take a pic of me with him! I know, WHAT A DORK! :sparky:
You CMs ROCK! :rocker:
sues
btw, I do not hate children, love them as long as they go home with their parents... ;)
