1 to tell a story of when an industrial grade, 500w lamp from a Leko... sorry, Ellipsoidal, blew up in his face 30 feet off the ground, shrapnel going everywhere except right at his face for some strange reason.

So there was this time back in Portland, when I was doing a Christmas presentation with a church, and went up to change a lamp out, and...

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Actually, that was a really fun gig. Imagine being in a catwalk, knowing all that holds you apart from a stage firework is the floor under you, and that the guy setting off the pyro is one of the guys who came up with the pyro for the Indy experience at the Studios. Oh, and you're dropping somewhat-flammable snow from right above the sparklers. Aw, I miss working that show.

Is the lightbulb securely screwed in before measuring it?

Is the socket stuffed to make the bulb appear taller than it is?

Was the bulb tall enough at the entrance only to be too short at the attraction itself?

Do not forget the heated debate on where on line are the lowest light bulb prices which leads to another thread with a heated debate on where the cheapest brick and mortar shop has the lowest prices.

there will be people posting charts and evidence as too what the total cost of making an online purchase and compare that to a brick and mortar shop purchase.

There is 15 posts on foreign light bulbs.

At least 5 people trying to come up with the hardest light bulb to install.

Did anyone mention all them lights at Disney parks yet.

Shall we diverge now onto christmas tree lights.

If we are talking about Christmas lights then what about Hannukah lights.

Wait now we better include nondenominational lights like them cute red chile peppers at Target.

Does anyone like them paper lantern type lights.

My dog can turn off the lights says another poster.

My dog can fetch and now we are off onto stupid dog tricks.

I wish Bubba could open the fridge like Rover.

My uncle is so stupid that he went to WDW and did not know there was more to do than on Main Street. He was there 18 days.

Ah, yes, P.A., that is for those guys who like all the attention and have some sort of useless skill like singing :D:

Back to the subject at hand...

Don't forget about the group that complains about the unruly lightbulbs that come in groups from places like Brazil :crowd:

If the lightbulb is too small and you can't turn on the lamp until you get a larger lightbulb, are you "Power-Hungry"?

Slaps Darth Nader with a park brochure that I found on a park bench right after a very large lady got up from the bench.

Post the different colours of light bulbs.

What do all them colours mean symbolically?

The use of colours to affect a person's emotions like we all know that red makes us upset when it is a red light.

Posters who post to explain what a red light district is.

Posters who talk about them or their family and red light districts.

Posters who complain about the mentioning red light districts in a kid friendly site.

Posters who post the lyrics to songs about lights.
Artist: Asleep At The Wheel
Song: House Of Blue Lights Tab

I Saw the Light of the Tram Pulling Away
Version of Hank Williams song

Waiting for Light to Change by the Warren Brothers

Actually this is done everyday on ANY given Disney topic at the Brand X Disney Boards. Name a topic and the discussion will go on just like this in real life over there. I don't go there any more because of the way they choose to post and run a topic into the ground and :deadhorse These are the same posters who said "Welcome to our board and you will be amazed at how interesting and kind people are here" Only months later, I made the mistake of stating my opinion :hitfan: and had 10-20 of them flaming me because I did NOT believe the way the majority of them believed. You are only as good as your opinion and it is only good if it is theirs. I am reminded of the old saying, "Everyone is entitled to my opinion"and THAT IS the way they are there. :notallthe

This was a really funny How to change a lightbulb...Thanks for sharing! :hysteria:

4 to complain that all the burn outs, I mean burnt out lightbulbs are getting in the way of their fun! And that that the burnt out light bulbs need to be replaced with brighter and younger lightbulbs...
