As in many cases where someone is killed, the grieving family members view the event as a profit opportunity. The family of the boyfriend are suing the family of the 36 year-old girlfriend too. I haven't heard anything lately but you can bet both suits are winding their way through the legal system.

I remember many summers being outside from just after breakfast until dinner, unless it was too hot, or a thunderstorm stopped whatever we were doing. Then again, many times we played in the rain as well - popsicle stick races, puddle jumping...you name it, we probably did it.
It is sad to see the 6 foot high wooden privacy fences in suburbia surrouding each backyard.
