What should be fun this week is Miley's Birthday party at Disneyland. The park opens early and closes at 5 pm. Miley will be in concert in different areas. 6,000 fans with tickets will be able to enjoy this.

Also gay pride weekend will be going on as well.

Enjoy! ;)

That is not fair as the Gay Pride people planned for this weekend since last year. Some probably booked rooms and airline tickets months before Miley came to Disneyland. I bet they are pissed off mad as it really in not fair to them to have their fun days cancelled for a lousy spoiled singer.

Actually, the Gay Days activities were already scheduled to be at DCA on Sunday (after the "main event" at Disneyland Park on Saturday), so it all fits together, somewhat. It's still not a good thing, but it helps somewhat.

What gets me more is that Sunday has been added as a Blackout Day for CM Maingate Passes, as well as DLR Cast IDs :( .

*searches for his comp tickets, and his red shirt (every year on Gay Days, I realize how rarely, outside work, I wear the colour red)*

Ha! Reminds me of the story on (board x) about an older man and his family visiting WDW on G days, and he was a diehard fan of a sports team that the teams color was red! And of course he wore the red team shirt to the parks.

and was heard at rope drop remarking that everyone was so friendly too him, and must love the team!!!

(hehehehehe)

I have been to the park on gay pride weekends. It is not bad and the the gay people impressed me. They were very nice and not rude. What is fun is when your friends are gay and you can hang out with them. :o:

Hehe, Reminds me of when Hubby was questioned by a certain well-known Pin Trader because he was wearing his Rainbow Mickey Pin
I knew the pin might have a certain meaning to some people when Hubby bought it, but he just really thought it looked nice :p:
Yes, he does still wear it.

Actually I have been on their site. For some this is one of the few holidyas they will get to make. For some people it is a multi-day vacation of meeting friends and socializing. Like most conventions and meetings some people will add on other things like site seeing. Check out their page.

I only recall one Gay Days and the trashy horrid thieving group that pin traded were very rude, insulted them and did things you would not like to have seen. Mind you they were the 6 people who were the only bad people I ever met in pin trading and on Gay Days it was as usual for the parks.

I happened to be there on one of these days last year. A school group was visiting that day, and apparently one of their school colors was red. The funniest part was that they were there as some kind of prize for doing well, because all of these red shirts said on the back, "I am proficient or advanced." (A friend who's a teacher told me they were most likely ESL students who had achieved a certain score on their test.)
