Skunk Trains?? Awww... I was born in Marin county, and my parents took us over to the Skunk Train several times. Even though I last rode one when I was like seven, those memories are firmly ingrained. I think it's the name, it probably wouldn't so popular if it was called something like the Flower Train.

Looking on a map, I didn't realize it was almost a three hour trip. My parents must have been very patient to deal with three kids for that long without gameboys/ipods/whatever to keep us occupied.
