I lived on the Mainland for quite a while before decamping for da islands. Honolulu just got a Nordies. It'll be interesting to see what happens once the locals discover their return policy.

HAHAHA! I had my salad there with a former SIL who LOVED that policy....
yes, she and kids would wear something fancy for an event and then return it....She and her Hubby at the time looked down on us K Mart shoppers, they only shopped at Nordies....Anyway, some time later, her Hubby got cuffed for getting a five-finger discount there!

I think she lives in Hilo now! ;)

It sounds like a return policy like that would invite a LOT of that sort of thing. Do they have something in place to combat the fraud? Like store credit, etc? Tags can't be removed?

Or you could do what I used to do when I was single.

Buy the 12 pack of the "plastic" (meleamie?) when they get dirty throw them away!!

(They didn't have dishwashers in the apartment I rented!)
