Maybe Davy Jones from the Monkees, then?

OTOH, that would be pretty scary, too. :)

Nononono, Mickey Dolenz, last time I saw a picture of him he looked like he belonged in the graveyard scene from the HM.

When I used to work for the MK as a CP, I told parents that they were illegal and that there were big fines in the county for anyone who had them. One dad practically yelled at his kids to take off their wheels. That made my day.

A few days ago I read Heeley's stock has really fallen. The company may be sold to a sub standard (secondary) company as these dang things are still selling, but the stock market sees them on the skids. We can only hope!

From what I can see, Heelys are new to stocks. They are at an all tie low and on their second nosedive in stock value. A couple of months ago they nosedived hard then recovered but not to the same level as before the nosedive.

I doubt they are going to go away without a fight. They insist their product is safer than bicycles and other types of transportation. I was at a site for Heely fanatics and they had a clip of people doing stunts without safety gear. The fanatics will keep Heelys alive for a long time. At the same time the parents will be putting away Heelys as new kids get Heelys. A never ending cycle it seems especially with the company pushing the pro-sport aspect as if it was skate boarding or roller skatting.

I hope they do dissappear.

Their 52 week range is 27.25 - 40.09. Today's low is 28.05. Market cap 760M. Their one year chart is trending down.

After looking at their web site, they appear to be a one trick pony. The shoes come in different colors and styles but the basic product is a shoe with a wheel in the back. They need to diversify their product line if they expect to survive for the long term. They might want to look at Crocs to see a long term success story. Or not. Crocs' market cap is 3.58B.

I want flip flop heelys. You are right about their colours and markings being boring. The only thing that will help them is to make stuff that kdis want.
