A friend took deliver of a Cirrus 20X plane recently. He took me for a ride today. Off the end of the runway at Kalaupapa, the old leper colony, there's a sunken WWII Japanese submarine. You can see the conning tower in the picture below.

Very cool! Is it accessible for divers and snorkelers ? Since Mom & Dad bought another timeshare at the Diamond, I might get to Maui in the next few years!

It probably is. It's located on the back side of Molokai so the only way to get there is either fly in or by boat. By boat would be a very long trip. The sub is close to the beach.
