Adding to my list...
  • <strike>Guests</strike>Customers who give me a hard time when the back of their credit card is not signed, despite it saying "NOT VALID UNLESS SIGNED," and I ask for ID. This is especially for those who have the cute little picture on the front of their cards, and claim that it's good enough to count as ID.
    • What's worse is when a Cast Member on the registers with me doesn't support me, and instead tells me to go ahead and take it, making me look like an ass. He even suggested asking a lead or a manager, who, guess what, said I was right. I didn't ask for a lead or a manager on the spot, because I feel it's "bad show" to have a CM dispute on stage. Hell, it's never a good idea to contradict someone in front of guests, unless they're being completely stupid. Coaching and counseling should be done away from Guests.
  • Guests who don't understand when I tell them "We have the same sizes in the back as on the rack. If there are no XXXL out here, there's a good chance that there are none in the back." Usually I offer to look or to call other locations anyway, but come on! How difficult is it to understand?

My pet peeves:

- Guests who jump over ropes and chains.
- Guests who unhook ropes and chains to go where ever they want.
- Guests going in the wrong way against the flow of traffic.
- Guests who take a short cut and don't go around.
- Single riders who want to go alone and don't ride with another person.
- Children that are too young ride together without an adult.

Another pet peeve of mine:

You are in line and suddenly coming up from behind you is someone who is trying to reach family or friends further up the line. Everyone is supposed to get in the line at the same time.

Once on the Jungle Cruise I was in line at some stairs when a large group of people who spoke only Spanish came plowing through the line. There was at least 10 people in the group and they went right down the stairs plowing through people.

When Roaring Rapids was first opened there was huge lines and a couple of men got caught by an angry crowd in line who would not let them through.

As a single person it is also annoying to have a party start to engulf you then get ahead of you. Why don't parents keep their kids with them instead of letting them wiggle through the line to the rear or front of the line.

I hate that the most!!! I was a guest at USH with a couple od Disney CMs in line at Jurassic Park. In through the bushes comes a large family of mexicans, when I say "large", I mean laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggeeeeeeeee group!! About 50 people continuously cutting in line in front of us. Then a latina CM made a comment that "they must brought their whole boat full family with them. Then the USH employee came up and scolded at the family!!! SCORE!!

my big pet peeve was when people bargained for their stuff
SG:"c'mon can i get some sort of discount"
ME:"not unless you have your AP or a specific coupon"
SG: "please! can't you give me an employee discount"
ME: "First, CAST discounts do not apply here and second you must have your CAST ID with you to get the discount!"
SG:"PLEASE! Its for my son! Its his birthday!" (note: no child is visible)
ME: "Well, tell him on behalf of all of us here, that we wish him a happy birthday!"

Guests who steal then there are no consequences. Leads & or managers simply have CMs call locations ahead to warn, describe The Costomer, then no action is taken.

Kids who do not stand in line. Please parents it is not funny when your body, camera, purse, packages, and clothes have been kicked by your cute kid who is using ropes, chains and fencing as their personal jungle gym. Other guests are not their to wait for little Johnny and Jane to finish playing in line. No all lines are very wide so it can be a bit of an inconvenience when you plow through the line to get your kid.

I cannot count the number of times I have been bushwacked, smashed and kicked by kids whose parents allow the kids act like wild animals at the zoo.

I cant stand it when those 17 year old girls are driving daddys car with the handy cap tag and request handicapp parking while they are giggling away thinking they got it made. Since I cant judge if they really have a disability, I have to let them park in handicapp.

Trust me I have seen my share of teenagers driving 80thousand dollar cars that u know aint theirs.

Technically, you don't. I had to get my mom handicapped tags. She is on a walker and needs them because she can't walk very far. The DMV issues a paper i.d. much like the auto's registration that specifies who the tags are for. The paper i.d. with the official state seal must be presented on request, along with the DL or state ID. It even states that on the paper. If the person that the tag goes with isn't in the vehicle, the person with the tags is NOT entitled to park in handicapped. Few people bother checking. You could, just to put the fear of god into them kingocal. Of course, they can also be cited, and the tags confiscated and or revoked by the Anaheim P.D. if you want to get really stinky about it. The last time I checked, it was a $375 fine for parking in a handicapped space when you are not really handicapped. Can't remember what the fine is for misuse of handicapped tags.
