You speak my language! When I was living in Oregon, I met the owner of Lancair, was invited to Bend to take a IV-P for a test flight. Never got around to it. I also have a contact in DFW who is a trainer at FlightSafety and said next time I am in the area to look him up and he'll get me some airliner simulator time. Anyone know just how much sim time goes for? According to a few of the pilots I few with briefly, if they were paying for it and not the company, it is almost double that!! But that is the one that moves, and can be programmed for anything! That info is a few years old, but I imagine its pretty close to accurate. They did say that their company owned the simulators, and "rented" out qual time to other airlines.Big Wallaby wrote:You speak my language!
