So at least in this case, the cap was already an optional part of the costume, and they made it clear that she can't take it off. So it would seem to me that Disney is accomodating their employees. And they need to figure out a way to ask prospective interns if they will be needing any costume alterations before they arrive at DLR.

I need to get the pics off my camera to illustrate this point. The girl who refused the alternative that Disney provided at DLR could move to Tokyo and work at Tokyo Disneysea in the Arabian Coast. I would offer that if I were Disney. "Here, move to Tokyo and we'll work on getting you a transfer to the Oriental Land Company and a job at Tokyo Disneysea!"
