Sorry to hear that! It's really cold here to, The weather guy said it won't get above 71 here (hehehe)Planner wrote:Good day to daydream about Fla as its currently snowing flakes I promise you as big as my fist out there, I have never seen flakes so big (well the human ones are larger but they don't fall from the sky slowly)
Ugly out there today yall enjoy Fla for the rest of us
You're mean. I'm in Florida and it is only 53 degrees right now and the high today is 62. One would think that since I've lived here all my life I'd be used to it but I'm not.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Sorry to hear that! It's really cold here to, The weather guy said it won't get above 71 here (hehehe)
Yesterday while we were driving in that pouring cold rain, my DH reminded me that I need new windshield wiper blades. I mentioned stopping by the store to see you, Shorty, so you could install new wiper blades for me. However, I didn't want you (or anyone) to have to do that in the cold rain so we came home instead. I thought about stopping by today, but it's still too cold outside even though the sun is out right now. So, one of these days, when it warms up a bit, I will be stopping by for new wiper blades. But don't hold your breath, it's supposed to rain on Friday, and get down to 29 degrees Saturday night. It might be awhile before I get those new blades. :(Shorty82 wrote:You're mean. Yesterday was a day no one could enjoy. I'm not sure what it got up to but it was rainy all day and the temperature dropped as the morning went on. I hated going outside yesterday. It was cold and wet enough to make my hands hurt after being out there not even a few minutes to install wipers or whatever. One time it was so bad I had to go into the restroom to run hot water over my hands to warm them and to make them stop hurting. Yesterday evening wasn't so bad as the rain had moved on but was still no fun to be outside (and I had to be to work on my car).
Good thing you didn't stop by the store today to see me, I'm off and not going anywhere near any of my stores. ;)Whazzup wrote:Yesterday while we were driving in that pouring cold rain, my DH reminded me that I need new windshield wiper blades. Yeah, but doesn't Florida really need the moisture? You all had a terrible drought last year, so many fires and no rain. Isn't it a blessing to get the rain now?Whazzup wrote:Yesterday while we were driving in that pouring cold rain, my DH reminded me that I need new windshield wiper blades.
