Mom had for breakfast coffee and on the plate was sourdough toast with butter, Tillmook cheese, some fried potato slices and bacon. I have been sitting eating breakfast ofr 5 minutes at least and hear the following:

Mom: Are you still cooking potatos?

I am sitting on the couch and there are potatos on her plate, lol.

My response: If you see potatos then I am still cooking them. If you do not see potatos then I am still cooking them but am not sharing them. :D:

While funny, that is equally disturbing.

Guy comes into the Grand Floridian with a room reservation. They look up his name in the reservation system, he's nowhere to be found. After going around with the person at the desk for a good while and looking at all the properties for his reservation, he finally pulls out his paperwork with his reservation number. They put the res number in the computer to no avail. They can't even give him a room because GF is booked solid. There's nothing the CM can do at this point, so they're trying to figure out a good way to take care of this guest.

It's then that the guest shuffles through his paperwork looking for better proof, and out pops a sheet of paper that, at the very top, makes mention of Disneyland, with California phone numbers. CM at the desk calls over to a California counterpart, and sure enough, it's at the Disneyland Hotel.

Someone hold his sign for a minute while he holds a tantrum.

Thanks a lot. It's gonna take a few minutes to clean off my monitor. :D:

But the problem is you were sending her the long way. Skip I-4, have her take Western Way to the 429 to the Turnpike to I-75 to I-10. That would have saved her a couple of hundred miles.

But my usual response, when asked by the valets if I need directions, is "How do I get to Disneyland from here?" When I tell them, "No, I don't mean the Magic Kingdom at WDW" generally they will suggest heading to the airport.

Ha!!! What an idiot. I hope they told him how long to allow to get from his resort to the (WDW) parks!

No, he was expecting a monorail to take him directly from his resort to all four FLORIDA parks.

Hmmm. sonds like a good way for BW and Cran to get some over time for a long distance route. ;) Do the two of you have a good spiel to cover that distance? :D:

susi*I am ALWAYS hungry, but need to lose weight* slicker

Geeze and I was going to take the ferries to ALL 4 Parks from the Contemporary resort! HAHAHAHAHA J/K!!!! LOLOLOLOLOl!!!! People need to do their homework BEFORE going on the trip. We looked at every book we could to try to get a lay of the land BEFORE we came to WDW and I can tell you we NEVER had one problem with transportation, we always knew when the busses were coming, because we had a schedule and asked at the front desk and walked the Contemporary resort to get a feel for where everything was located, and we knew we could walk to MK from Contemporary. When we were at the Boardwalk we did the same, looked for the bus stop as soon as we arrived, walked the Boardwalk resort to get a feel of where everything was and it only takes a little while to do that. MAPS are the guest's friend, they should learn how to use them if they never have been there before! We had no problems and there is NO excuse for anyone to have problems except stupidity or laziness...

So... you think I want to save her mileage because...?

It is a polite and nice thing to do.

I would think you would have wanted her out of town the quickest way possible.
