Thanks, Turkeyham, now I am going to have nightmares for the next few weeks, as we are going on the Aug 13th cruise on the Wonder! I really hope the tour groups are nowhere to be found by then !

I could say, "hey at least they weren't out in the park" but there were still plenty out there mobbing the place.
I guess that explains how they can stay up all night partying while the rest of us are trying to sleep....

I bet the older Brazilians bought the beer. To give a minor alcohol is illegal. Out here, if you have a party and a party goer gets drunk. Plus the drunk goer desides to get into the car and crashes into someone...I heard the host of the party can be charged for the crime?

Host of the party can be charged, yet might not always hold up. I do know a bar can be charged if they serve a patron who has had too much. Where is our SGT lawyer? He knows everything! ;)

Sorry to disappoint, but I do not know
everything. Some of the finer points of quantum physics and cosmic string theory are a little fuzzy to me.

Some states do make over-serving a criminal offense, particularly if the drunk then causes injury or death, but I don't know the details of Florida law. But
anywhere you are, a person who over-serves (whether in a bar, home, wherever) can be sued for negligence.

there are several laws in california that address that problem.
the one that gets the most attention is the "underage party" where a homeowner is liable if he allows underage drinking.
The cities of San Diego and Poway enacted "house party" laws that can put the adult in jail for six months and fines starting at $1,000.00
other cities are looking at following suit.
we keep losing too many teens to drunk driving accidents before they even get out of high school.
