This might be the most logical reason I have every heard on this subject!Fitswimmer wrote:One of our CM's heard that they're here for another 2 weeks. Yesterday they entertained themselves by shattering the masks we use at TL for the shark reef. Today, they just took them and hid them all over the park for us to find. We had over 100 masks "wander away", which of course made the other guests wait longer for clean ones to use on the attraction.
I think the Brazilian parents send their special little snowflakes here so that they can have a vacation from them.

Thanks, Turkeyham, now I am going to have nightmares for the next few weeks, as we are going on the Aug 13th cruise on the Wonder! I really hope the tour groups are nowhere to be found by then !turkeyham wrote:I would seriously hate to see what happens if you got a group of them on a Disney Cruise ship? Would they be tossed off before they get on?![]()

I think you will be ok. I have seen them at the parks and South Coast Plaza. :)

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I guess that explains how they can stay up all night partying while the rest of us are trying to sleep....LucyintheSky wrote:.....
At one point I went into that large "hallway" that's behind the Coke Cool Station, or whatever it's called, and the Character spot, and there were literally dozens of kids lying down on the floor, all through the entire place, sleeping. It was really bizarre. They weren't just resting for a few, either. I walked through there again a couple hours later (I like to walk through the AC :D :) and the same people were still sleeping.
I could say, "hey at least they weren't out in the park" but there were still plenty out there mobbing the place.

I bet the older Brazilians bought the beer. To give a minor alcohol is illegal. Out here, if you have a party and a party goer gets drunk. Plus the drunk goer desides to get into the car and crashes into someone...I heard the host of the party can be charged for the crime?

Host of the party can be charged, yet might not always hold up. I do know a bar can be charged if they serve a patron who has had too much. Where is our SGT lawyer? He knows everything! ;)turkeyham wrote:I bet the older Brazilians bought the beer. To give a minor alcohol is illegal. Out here, if you have a party and a party goer gets drunk. Sorry to disappoint, but I do not know everything. Some of the finer points of quantum physics and cosmic string theory are a little fuzzy to me.Main Streeter wrote:Host of the party can be charged, yet might not always hold up. Some states do make over-serving a criminal offense, particularly if the drunk then causes injury or death, but I don't know the details of Florida law. But anywhere you are, a person who over-serves (whether in a bar, home, wherever) can be sued for negligence.

there are several laws in california that address that problem.
the one that gets the most attention is the "underage party" where a homeowner is liable if he allows underage drinking.
The cities of San Diego and Poway enacted "house party" laws that can put the adult in jail for six months and fines starting at $1,000.00
other cities are looking at following suit.
we keep losing too many teens to drunk driving accidents before they even get out of high school.
