Secondly, teach your DD that you can catch more flys with honey and not vinegar. ;)
Sorry, darph, but I can't hear this saying any more without thinking of Dave Foley and Phil Hartman on
Newsradio:
Dave: Have you ever heard the expression that you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar?
Bill: Have you ever heard the expression that only a hillbilly sits around figuring out the best way to catch flies? :D:
Disneyland still has "kids only lanyards" on CMs last time I went......the lanyards often have really cool pins!
Just remember to tell her that even the really popular pins will become more available at a later date.....and being very polite will melt the heart of even the crustiest of Pin Traders ;) Happy Hunting! (just found trader pins from Disney AMS warehouse for less than $4.00 each! some people find good traders on ebay as well))

Dang, beaten by the Marsupial Welcoming Committee because of work, anyway, please allow me to offer you a very warm* welcome to that slice of the internet we call SGT. This website contains threads with quick twists and turns and I would like to advise you to not try to hard to keep up with them. Please keep your hands, arms, and legs safely inside the website at all times and enjoy your stay.
*this instance of warm is actually hot**... very hot
**this instance of hot means that you are now literally on fire, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience
BTW, you're probably going to love your visit. :D:

Green lanyards are still around. CMs with green lanyards can only trade with guests 12 and under while CMs with black lanyards can trade with anybody.
Oh, I'm no longer a pin wearer. I hung up my pins when I transferred to attractions. I might wear them sometimes but I haven't decided yet if I want to. I kept my lanyard so I still have my pins. Thanks for thinking of me though!

If you are looking for good pins for the kids, Frontierland has a few places to trade. Also, costodial crews have good pins. If you are ever in Frontierland, find Sarah. She gets to go through the manager's stash in the mornings. :)

My daughter wanted only to collect Jessica Rabbit on one trip.....she made out pretty good, but didn't get nearly as many pins as she wanted, so she traded for others that interested her as well. My kids usually find a "theme" part way through our trip and collect for that. For my son, it is usually the "year" pins (he got all but one this past trip) and another year it was anything with Stitch. As I've said before, I only allow them to trade with CMs.
And thanks for the tip, guys, I did not know that there were two different colored lanyards.
