QUEBEC, omg, so they finally became their own country. I know they demand everything in french for sweepstakes. Why didn't anyone tell me that Quebec became a country, I am so out of the loop on geography. sigh.

on the side I was at was two lines that split into 2 more lines and some people were SGs. I was setting in the wheelchair and boy idjuts. I moved up to get in the left line. People would not follow me. Same on the other side. They were dead set on following the line instead of splitting the line. I looked at both and saw all them strollers. I knew the left line was quicker because strollers take up lots of room and the kiddies are free, lol. I do not remember ever seeing that many people in line at the tickets booth on a weekday in the off off season and at 11 am. A good 15 minute wait at least but I think it was half an hour, long long lines.

Okay, questions from a Stupid Guest.

I have a 2Fer.

My first use was more than 30 days ago.

Does the ticket scanner reveal that ugly fact? Will it "bong" on me?

I'm asking because the back of the ticket has no printed expiration date.

What IS printed on the back is "first use must occur by 4/12/2010. That could be construed to mean that it expires 30 days from 4/12, or is the date of my actual first use revealed by the bar code scanner?

I'm not sure about at DL, but at WDW the Ticketing Computer tracks use of all tickets. Based on the normal expiration of tickets 14 days after date of first use, if a person attempts to use the ticket in the turnstile more than 14 days from first use, even if their are still entitlements on it, (a) the turnstile will not unlock, and (b) on the greeter side of the turnstile it will indicate that the ticket has expired.

And then the person will come to us at a ticket window or Guest Relations and we will politely tell them the facts of life and offer to sell them a new ticket so they can get into the park.

So I would expect that if you try to use it more than 30 days after first use the same will happen.

Sorry to be the bearer o bad news, but it will definitely "BONG" you. Not a stupid question - it never hurts to ask! But yeah, the barcode scanner will tell us everything from the date of use to the minute and second, even what specific turnstile you came through. Unfortunately, if your tickets are past 30 days, they're not gonna be worth anything anymore.

I've tried this. More often than not, they continue speaking Spanish. I've even tried "I speak English; tôi nói tiếng Việt; je parle français" to no avail. =P
