Stupid Guest Tricks

I learned how to measure amps and volts today. YAY me!

Another telephone story.

I got a call from a Pac Bell tech who was shooting trouble on one of our brand new super wizz bang solid state switches. It had just been installed and was casters up.

I had him run a few tests. Nothing worked. ABout ten minutes into the call he asked if he could take a break to cool off. "Whadda mean cool off?" I asked.

The tech said the system had been installed in a room on the roof of a warehouse and the temp inside was over 100 degrees. I told him the maximum temp the system would work in was 80 degrees.

He got the warehouse manager on the phone and I repeated the temp parameters. The manager told me to hold on and put the tech back on the phone. All of a sudden I heard a huge crash over the phone. "What was that?" I asked.

"He just threw a chair through the window." the tech replied.

The room cooled down immediately and the manager promised to have an air conditioner installed the next day.

I like guys who take action.

Purpura, you actually got it? Annaliza is just the BEST! I sure do miss her @ Harbor Point Coffee Cart. I look for you daily, really I do!! Someday I'll have the pleasure. :) Soon I hope!

I need sleep but I cant....I just cant. I feel like babbling but my brain is not working fast enuf to actually babble. Instead I am just kinda babb...without finishing my thot process. Ok ...now I am babbling. I guess I really should go and try to get some sleep
