I have lost 12 pounds since the beginning of December. YAY! Only 40 more to go! I hope to lose at least 30 of it by the time we go to WDW in May. I will look like myself again. I have not been able to exercise because of my back, so Slimfast has been my friend and I am not eating all my favorite foods anymore :( (like pie, ice cream. cookies, all sweets, barbecue and fast food.) Once the docs fix the back, woo hoo, I am back to exercising and maybe jogging if my back can take it. I miss running. And exercise always helps to move the pounds off faster. I am eating all fruits and veggies and non fattening foods. I only had Mickey waffles at DL once while we there at Christmas. I used to have them everyday when we went! We ate lots of fresh fruit and oatmeal for breakfast. Yum! I am losing it!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

Good work! You're doing the right thing by avoiding empty calories. If your back won't allow you to run consider biking. People with back problems swear by recumbants. They basically are a laid back chair on a lowered bike. Take a look at:

Do they come with snow tires and/or chains?

They look very comfortable. But yes, they may need a snow tire or chains. We got snow comin in. I can feel the pressure changing in my joints. Ralph ain't doin so well either. He is still very sick from our trip. He now has laryngitis and he said he was feeling sick again. :( He just has to be careful. When he was in the hospital 22 yrs ago, he had a staph infection in his lungs that nearly killed him. Nothing would get rid of it! Finally, they used an experimental drug to save his life, but ever since that staph infection, his lungs are very weak when it comes to repiratory ailments. He may need to go to the doc again. They took chest x-rays when he went last week and his lungs were clear, at least no signs of pneumonia. He is just not getting well as fast as I am. But then I took antibiotics for my Bronchitis and it worked, so I must have had a bacterial infection, not a virus. It probably started with a virus and I get bronchitis so easily. Ralph does not get sick very often, he is usually the healthiest one here, but if he does not start to get better in the next couple days I am sending him to the ER to see what is up with him. I know the cough from the California Crud can last a long time, up to 6 weeks sometimes.

Anyway, hope everyone in California is staying safe from the huge weather monster attacking there now, both north and south! I see it is just horrible there! Holey Moley Batman! Break out the canoes! Flood waters is a comin'!
Or an avalanche if you are in the Sierras! Take care everyone! :)

Get well, (Ya know a shot of RUM....) I know it sounds bad, but the more snow pack in the Sierras, the less we have to worry about water! Talk about torn...

double, triple, quadruple posting is when a person posts many times in a row. Ktulu, Wombat, and Big Wallaby post one tiem and multi quote. Each issue is handle in one thread.

Multiquoting can be done with the multiquote button or by opening up a second copy of the thread then copying and pasting to the reply box. That is my method, lol, never learned how to use that blooming button. Many sites will delete or even ban people who double post where as I merged all the posted into one post then left a comment like "I will not quintuple post and will ask my parents for help on how to post properly." lol.

At this site it would be ok if someone later had to add to their comment because there is a time limit but it is annoying and lately you have seen me posting less as I am not going through 4 pages of multiple postings just to find out where I left off.

Pass me the buttered popcorn, I want popcorn.

Look it is Purpura and a herd of pink elephants in the parade,.

I've multi-quoted before on other websites sometimes. Haven't felt the need to here, yet... It is easy to do.

Me and Pink Elephants eh? Well hey look there's Churchy and the Gingerbread men and women from the Holiday parade And popcorn!!

I rode a recumbent "Banana Bike" I rented at Pismo Beach....FUN. I was also amazed to see some people riding Segways on the beach
Raining Furiously here last night, hope the slides don't happen. A few years ago, on the same day people were killed in the La Conchita slide, My son had to be rescued from his school bus by the swift water rescue team because the STUPID school bus driver ignored the "Road Closed" signs, went past and got stuck in the water and mud from a slide. Yup, he was fired.
