I'm going to go see the first showing at the DTD AMC tomorrow morning before my shift!
In order that you may better understand the shocking nature of this statement: the last time I went to see a movie inside a Cinema was when Flubber came out 11 years ago.

I'm going tonight at CityWalk. Bought my ticket at Universal in the employee cafeteria already. Will this have an adverse effect on the film (buying a movie ticket for a Disney film at Universal)?

As long as no vortex opened up when you did so, I think you will be okay :D:
My plans to go tomorrow morning were ruined by a kids birthday party we have to attend. Now we are thinking Sunday morning, or perhaps tomorrow
afternoon after naptime.

I hope to get to it soon. My kids and I talked about doing the midnight showing last night, which sounded good in theory, but we've all had a busy week, so we knew we'd probably not enjoy it as much.
BTW, WALL-E is scoring an
amazing 98% on the
Tomato-meter!

Wow, 98%!!!
I may not make it this weekend at all :( I was up sick all night. Not anything contagious sick but just my own body being stupid sick :( :( :(
Maybe by tomorrow when the meds kick in...in the meantime I'm watching my little InterAction Wall E and Eve talk to each other. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life LOL
Those of you who are going please tell me how many boxes of Kleenex I need to bring, keeping in mind that watching Dumbo is enough to set me on a crying jag for days LOL
And also those who are going today ENJOY! I'll be there with you in spirit. Sorry if that creeps you out ROFL
This is Bru. :)
This is Bru with no sleep. :madhat:
Any questions?
I should stop posting right this instant *slap-happy giggle inserted here*

We have tickets to the late show tonight at 10:15! My daughter just texted me that she got to go with her Dad to see it and LOVED it- she told me one thing in her text. This kid knows me well.
"Mom- you'll love Wall-E. Take lots of kleenex."

Hope you're enjoying the movie as we speak, Bru. We saw it this afternoon and it is indeed one of the best movies so far this year. If you didn't love the little robot before you saw the movie, you will definitely love him after you see it.
At our local theater there was a sign on the door that said "Free Wall-E watch with purchase of child's movie ticket." After we watched the movie I saw the general manager standing by the door and asked him pretty please if I could exchange my two adult ticket stubs for a Wall-E watch and he said Sure and unlocked the ticket booth door and brought me a cute little Wall-E watch. It's tiny and plastic but it tells time and it has Wall-E and Eve etched on it.
There was also a promotional poster for Mike Meyers' new movie "The Love Guru." In front of the poster was a flat pad on the floor with two sets of footprints on it and it was marked "Stand here." So, being a bit of an experimenter, I stood on one set of footprints, and Steve stood on the other, and lights on the poster started flashing and a voice said, "Get a room"! :D:
We stepped off and back on again and more lights flashed and the voice said, "Better luck next life." Now I'm gonna have to pay more attention to the trailers for that movie and see what it's all about. :)
