Ja. I do enjoy English slang terms... I do enjoy the term "wanker"
when it's pronounced "waaaaayn-kuh"

Randy B wrote:When I grew up I first learned the definition for Faggot as a gay person (tho at the time I was too young to really understand the term). Then I began to read older adventure stories and historical novels. It took a long time to get over the concept expressed when a "hero" would be camping with his friends in the wilderness and say "It's getting chilly. Throw another faggot on the fire."

Or in an "Are You Being Served?" episode:
Talking about Mr. Grainger after he humbly apologizes to his co-workers.
Mrs. Slocombe: You know, it's the sort of thing saints do. I wonder if he's had some spiritual awakening. You know, it's the sort of thing that happened to Saint Joan when those soldiers lit them faggots under her feet.
Mr. Humphries: That was enough to make anybody sit up and take notice...
(Yeah, I really like AYBS...)

Hobie, your sig pics remind me of the sailing I used to do at summer camp and some of the fantastic capsizes I've had.

Pitch poles and forestay flying always add some good stories to tell at the end of the day.

Its so good to read this kind of stuff. This is my first venture into attractions. I was merchandise and then office and tech for a couple stints. When I got the opportunity to open TSMM I jumped at it. My biggest fear is when to press the dreaded E-Stop. And so glad to know that I have no fear of the infamous "D" stop being an issue. But thanks for making me laugh and realizing that no doubt about it crap is going to happen and that button is going to be pressed. Not much you can do but cycle them out and get it back up again.
