Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Also, I already have your autograph. :p: You signed the card you gave me the other week.
Rats - another autograph given away free. I'd better start charging for those. :D:

The party won't cost you anything - and you'll get free food and probably free Disney goodies, too. Nothing of immense value, but hey, free is free.
The party will be from 1-4pm at a friend's house who lives between Blue Angel Parkway and Lillian Highway on Hwy 98. More details to follow when I email you an invitation. Do I have your home email? I can't remember - guess I'd better check. If I don't, I'll PM you and request it.

Have you ever looked into respite care from the county? Contact social services to see if they offer it.
I was wondering the same thing. Judging by what you say your income level is and the medical needs, you ought to qualify for something in the way of help with her and the household expenses.

Just trying to help.

This incoming cold front is supposed to go all the way down to Central America. Be prepared for higher prices for orange juice this year.

Wow, I can't even begin to think about it being that cold there. I'm sure all the guests at WDW are out buying the warmest clothing they can find!!

Churchy,

Take a look at http://www.ssa.ocgov.com/Elder_Disabled ... efault.asp . It might be a place to start.

Thanks Hobie, she makes to much usually.

The problem is mom is an SG big time.Make breakfast NOW. I was low in sugars, shaking bad, no water or peeing, cold floor, no glasses but now make breakfast. She is like the guests who cannot wait one second for anything. She wants me to get the paper even if I am eating or sleeping.

Thanks but the best thing is pray for the world to end or for me to move.

Now back to a rerun of Gilligan's Island.
