Yeah the Mark VI;s are bigger, They (Disney) had to enlarge the opening sin the Contemporary to let them pass through.

The story i am told was that when they where doing after hours testing with the M4's that the took a cardboard cut out the size of the M6's and attached it to M4 Red and drove it to the Contemp Air Door and see if it would fit....
Like the line from Top Gun says... "Thats a negative Ghost Rider.... The Pattern is To Big...." or was it "Full"... I dont remember

I have seen that photo of the M IV with the cardboard template on it.
The line from TG is
"Negative Ghost Rider. The pattern is full."
One of my favorite movies from the time. :D:
