Did you ever grab the low ceiling at the end of the ride to stop your boat to stay under the air conditioning? I think that was the coolest place in the park on a hot summer day.

Yeah, but skunks don't smell bad in real life, so as a kid I never bought that. :p:

I know I"m supposed to be a Disney fan and all, but, I could go a lifetime without ever seeing a Mickey Mouse Cartoon, but take away my Looney Toons, and I will be very, very angry. I know that they have "politically corrected" them, but some of the originals still exist and are shown.

Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Granny...all of them were and still are classics. I still laugh just thinking about the hunting cartoons (Duck Season, Rabbit Season) when Daffy gets shot in the face and his bill spins round and round his head. My confession...the only Mickey Mouse cartoon I remember at all was Steamboat Willie and that was because it is shown a gazillion times in WDW. As a kid, I did love Goofy cartoons, hence my screen name, still do, but nothing compares with Looney Toons.

Actually, skunks only smell when they have fired their musk when they feel threatened. And believe me, that smell could gag a maggot! Or knock a buzzard off a stiff wagon, if you prefer. (My youngest sister heard those phrases when she was a teen; I think they're fun to use occaisonally.) Oh, how I hate those "sanitized" cartoons! I hate them like mom used to hate colorized black and white movies! Seriously, some things should be left alone. If the content of an old cartoon bothers someone, there are plenty of new ones they can watch.

Not all of the Mickey Mouse cartoons now seem lame. My favorite is his second film, "Galloping Gaucho", where he goes to a saloon, drinks beer, smokes a cigar, picks up a waitress, and gets into a knife fight.

Now *that's* my kind of mouse!

As far as Disney shorts go, I much perfer the old Goofy one's. I love it when he's demonstrating something like the gym equipment or how to play golf. That's why I loved the new one they did befor Meet the Robinson's about how to set up a home theater. I wish they'd do more of those.

There were certainly a few guests yesterday who I had to physically step back from because of the smell. So strong I literally couldn't breath.
