Yep, it did get that long during that week. And I can tell you, it was no fun at all. :(CptnSkippy wrote:Friend of mine went right before Christmas. She took a picture of the standby time of 300 minutes for TSM.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

I remember seeing a wait that long for TSM in October of 2008. Considering that is not a busy season for Disney, I was really shocked to see it.
For Narnia! And for Aslan!

Well, I'm actually not that surprised. It had only been opened for around 5 months at the time, so people would have been riding it for the first time.disneyprincess1988 wrote:I remember seeing a wait that long for TSM in October of 2008. Yesterday in the park, I was next to Big Thunder RR. The cast member said on the intercom, please let the cast member know how many are in your group, that will make the line go faster.
Next, I heard the same cast member say: Please do not climb on the rocks. Please get off the rocks. If you climb on the rocks, you might fall off and get a major boo-boo. I was laughing when I heard that. If they Sg can climb on a rock, let them get a new hair cut when the train travels above them.

They might get more than just a haircut...turkeyham wrote:If they Sg can climb on a rock, let them get a new hair cut when the train travels above them.

Re: The hardest question known to man:...How many in your Party?
I loved grouping as it was kind of like doing a puzzle, but man, people had a lot of problems with that question! My favorite was a ride like Pooh where you had a merge point. I would ask somebody in standby how many, they tell me two. I let them in then switch over to fast pass and all of a sudden people will be yelling at me because there were five more with them! FP and Standby are separated by a wall and I did have a habit of standing on the other side of the wall from standby when letting FP in so I didn't have to see the standby death glare. I have had it happen before where the people I let in don't say anything and when I get back to standby they are really pissed because I just loaded 20 people between them and their party. I do feel bad, but I bet they will learn to answer the question properly!

We have the same problem at the Pass Gates. With the turnstile printing the readmission tickets we have to enter the number of people coming in on the MGP. So most of the time when we ask a CM "How Many In Your Party" they manage to not include themselves!

I can understand this one. Cast are used to coming in on just their ID and don't realize when they are using their Main Gate to get friends in that they too are coming in it.Cheshire Figment wrote:We have the same problem at the Pass Gates. Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.
