Oh, and welcome to SGT, PapaFett!
I couldn't make it as a punker...

Thanks for the welcome---I try not to be an SG, but it is a blast reading about them, and the insights from all of the CMs are great, too!!!

Now, where'd I put my cowboy duds?

Ok, on Thursday my friend and I were at Disneyland. Both of us like to people watch and we came across a female cast member on a turkey cart. She had a serious button problem on her shirt. Instead of all the buttons buttoned up, it was 2 buttons buttoned on the bottom of the shirt. She had blond hair. My friend said, look she must be a hooker in her spear time. I I flagged over someone with a radio to report what we saw. After coming off Big Thunder, the same girl was there and a manager was telling her to button the whole shirt.

I wonder if her turkey leg sales went up or down after she buttoned up?

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

i'm the kind of person who doesn't care what other people wear most of the time, but really. if you're 300+lbs...

DO. NOT. WEAR. A. TUBE. TOP.

it does not:

make you look thinner
make people think you're hot
make you look attractive

no. it does quite the opposite.

and this goes regardless of weight:

i get that you want to wear a skirt/shorts if it's not too cold outside. i like doing that too. BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY MAKE SURE THAT SKIRT COVERS YOUR ASS. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE CAMEL TOE SHORTS.

(caps lock is my anger management :D well, that and other things)

camel toe shorts
They look like undies or the bottom of a two piece swim suit to me.

I am fat and know that if the material is snug it is ok but when it is stretch and seams are popping then slice that into and trash it. I have one shirt that is small but comfty but I would never wear spandex.

I don't think the cast member made that much. When we went to the park, it was very slow. We could walk onto all the rides.

At work we do have daily check ins with the managers. One day there was a surprise inspection. The supervisor of our department walked in and asked to see if we were wearing clean and matching clothes. We are in foods and they wanted to see if we were following the policy of the department. 1 girl claimed that she is color blind at 4 am. She had one orange sock on and 1 purple sock on. The supervisor tagged 3 others with her and they were told to go and get black socks. Can we all say oops?

Re: picture of camel toe shorts. They remind me of when I was much younger, when something like that could get you arrested! On a scale from longest to shortest skirt lengths, from maxi, midid, mini, and micromini, this would rank in the shortest category of all--the "Good Morning, Judge" length!

More proof that the fashion industry is run by people who hate women....

And yet, they do so seem to enjoy wearing (or almost not wearing) them. What does that say about the women that wear them? (not a put down, just a question)

Not particularly inappropriate, but more a Whisky Tango Foxtrot thing.

What was up with all the Harry Potter fangirls (and a few fanboys) in the park yesterday? I saw so many Gryffindor and Slytherin uniforms I thought I was at Hogwarts!
