Stupid Guest Tricks

Ah, yeah, I can understand that. I always ask my wife if I look okay when I decide to wear the crocs. Slacks, button down and crocs don't work for me. I'm with you there, however when I visited the Fort Worth Zoo over the weekend, I wore my crocs to test them out. I'm wondering how I'd do at DLR and WDW with them :)

Oh, I won't talk about how I can wear shorts, t-shirts and flip flops to work ;)

I too hate Heelies :mad: I almost got ran into by one chile while at DL earlier this month. I had to veer to the side at the last moment or be hit. Kid of course did not appologize, neither did the stupid parent grrr.

I work at a big department store and we do not allow skating in our store. I love telling these kids they can not skate in the store.

I'd have let the kid run into me, he'd have fallen and I'd laugh, and then yell at the parents for letting their kid run into me.

I have noticed a good way to get parents to keep their kids well clear of me is to announced loudy to Mr. Sydrome when one is heading my way: "Oh, good, I get to clothesline another little monster!" (accompanied by appropriate arm extension). I actually had one parent grab the kid by the shoulder and point 'em the other way. :twisted: And if I DO have to clotheline 'em, hey, I never said I was gonna...it was merely a reflex self-protective action. :twisted: :twisted:

Syndrome as a guest I am not sure about park policy. I do know the most parks feel that guests are not allowed to violate laws, intimidate, threaten or scare the manure out of other guests. Not even if the guest is totally a jerk. Really it is not conducive to the happy nature of parks when someone is screaming "SMOKER HELP HELP SECURITY SMOKER" and you can substitute other groups of people. Beligerence is not the answer and that woman probably later let her kid continue to use heelies. Why not next time talk with her about the safety issues. Education does work sometimes.

Eh. I'm with Syndrome on this one. Education does indeed sometimes work, but in the middle of a crowded theme park, fending off SG's of all ages, when all we're trying to do is not have our day ruined... I think her method of "education" is quicker and more lasting. (And more fun! :twisted: )
