Probably. You're not supposed to use your pass to help other people get more people into the park.vreet wrote:Would they still have been fired if money had not been exchanged?
Given that she said Parish school board, I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's Louisiana. But then again, it tends to happen everywhere these days.Kwhati wrote:Where did that happen? Was that near me (in DC), or did that just make the papers here all the way from somewhere else?
If it was my cube, I'd definitely have a sore back, not to mention I'd be dusty as all hell.glendalais wrote:I honestly don't know how that would be "better" sleep. Seems to me like you would just wake up with a really sore back, unless of couse the desk were really big or something, lol.
Seriously, I don't know a CM that didn't help a friend/co-worker sign people in, or ask someone to help them. Yes, both of these are direct violations of the rules. But it's one of those things that everyone did covertly, the managers knew everyone did it but just looked the other way because they did it themselves before they became managers. One manager I had overheard two CMs working out such a deal and basically told them to wait until he left before continuing their conversation (meaning, "I don't care if you do it, just don't let me find out you're doing it."). If someone is stupid enough to blatantly do it in front of the Main Entrance Ticket Takers and management, they deserve to get termed IMHO.glendalais wrote:How about this one? Two guys from my location were recently termed because one used his Main Entrance Pass to help the other get a really big group into DL. The second guy then paid the first $20 for doing so.
The problem here...they did all this in plain view of the Main Entrance CM, along with at least two managers, apparently.
At least be covert when you're blatantly violating every rule in the book, eh?
Disciplined, definitely. Fired, maybe, depending on the circumstances and the CMs' record. Again, as I said above, if they were stupid enough to get caught, they deserve to get fired.vreet wrote:Would they still have been fired if money had not been exchanged?
Unfortunately yes. If you leave a guest and they get in trouble, you are in BIG trouble. Also their tickets won't work unless you are in the park with them.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Are you supposed to stay with a guest you let in? or be responsible for their behaviour?
