Talk about YUMMMMMMMMMMMY!!!!!!! I LOVE potatoes any way they are fixed, a loaded baked, home fried in a skillet with butter and onions, mashed, but my all time time fave is my mom's 1950's style scalloped potatoes. Those cannot be beat!!!!!!!! No potato flakes allowed!!!!!! Yoikes!

OH COOL. I never thot of just using ice cream topping on them. I usually toss some brown sugar and butter on top if I lack the pecans. I used to make this sweet potato casserole that is soooooooo good. I need to find the recipe again. I remember you mixed up some canned milk, cranberries/raisins, orange juice, brown sugar and egg in the base to make it fluff up. The top was a kind of crust with pecans and brown sugar.

I know most people make them sweet, but we are using them like regular potatos, no sugar, just butter after baking them, they are really good that way too!!

(must admit I do like them it the "holiday" mode!!)

Go to a bookstore. I can spend hours wandering through the stacks. You never know what will pop out. Of course it can get expensive if you find some interesting books but now you've got something to do at home.

How 'bout a book on party planning?

LOL...who needs a book when I have you all.

I have four 6 foot bookshelves stacked with books. You wanna come shop at my house? I should start a book rental business.

Side note.....
I was scrolling around "evil board X" (I read I dont post) and saw a thread on this. This woman is the epitome of a SG non-park version. The poor kid is gonna need therapy in a few years if her mom keeps encouraging this kind of crap.
http://www.star-telegram.com/news/story/381423.html

I read a few more news reports on it and more recent ones said something about other things are being investigated too. There is no way a 6 year old comes up with this kind of stuff on their own unless their minds have been already poisioned with it for years. Poor baby.
