Not only that GMC dahling but when say you guys at Indy had a down time and guest comes up to me at Pooh Greeter and say "Is Indiana Jones open?" I said "Yes" (I always assume an attraction not on scheduled referb is open)
Guest "But it was down earlier can you call?"
"No I don't have a phone"
Yes a lie, but sorry the last thing Indy's tower wants is a call asking "Are you guys 104?" When there is a down time at Mansion Tower is getting buzzed on the ride phone, calls from management. Sorry I don't want other locations (except the info board) calling asking if I am 104.

Wow, you attraction cm's have it rough! I can be standing behind a register and a guest will ask if I'm open. No, I'm really on break and have no better place to go  Guests are constanly asking the price of items. Other than cameras and film, everything is tagged. Get your head out of your butt and look!!!

My fave was always when you'd be midspiel on jungle and a guest would ask you a question about another attraction... one skip I knew would then take the guests map and begin reading from it, after a bit he'd ask if they'd like to know more or rather hear the jokes. (he was never asked to read more)

personally? I always ignored them.

Guests asking tagged prices is the eternal thorn in my day. If I can see the price...so can you. Just proves few can or WANT to read when @ DLR. Don't mind telling guests the price of an item, but don't ask when I have a long line @ cash reg & demand an answer with my full attention. :( Secondly....guests won't believe CMs move from store to store & memorizing all prices is not in my contract - last I checked. Abt the only places a guest can't check all prices is @ Souvies 66 & in Mid @ T's. Much @ Souvies is behind counter. Some items in Mid are too high. Glad to price chk when reason is valid. Validity @ DLR?? Never! :D: :D:

Is that the shop in Paradise Pier? The T-Shirt one? I am guessing based on abbreviations.

I came up with a new one today...

I was standing in front of Pirates with the "Wait time -- 10 Minutes" sign behind me.

Guest: "Is that ten minutes real?"
Me: "Nope. It's artificial. At Disneyland we use NutriTime. It's just like regular time but with only half the calories."

T's = Side Show Shirts on boardwalk @ Pier. 3 stores in one. Point Magu sells jewelry, Mid or Manhatton has many items but no cash wrap & the largest (3rd)room is Side Show Shirts. Should have clarified this in my post. T's is short for tee shirts....
I "assume." Never asked
