Plenty of wood just "laying" around to start a fire. I used to do this at the Indian camp around the river, the burning cabin was also a great spot!hobie16 wrote:How do you get your Smokey Joe through bag check? Can you buy charcoal in the park?

Has anyone tried those Mio--pronounced "meow"--drink mixes? I see them in Target, what it says on the label is you put a few drops into your water bottle to flavor the water. However, the price has kept me from buying them. One of those tiny bottles is supposed to make 24 bottles of flavored water. That would make it a bargain, if only my EBT amount was higher. But that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Ditto my paycheck.

I have used them before. They are pretty good. But I was sharing with some friends so I am not sure on the 24 bottle thing. :) The best part is that you can either put a little or a lot in depending on how much flavoring you want.felinefan wrote:Has anyone tried those Mio--pronounced "meow"--drink mixes? Ditto.GaTechGal wrote:I'm not offended about the raise in drink prices since they let you bring in your own bottles and have water fountains all over.
Maybe Disney's trying to encourage people to drink more water, so there'll be fewer people passing out, getting sick, etc. due to the heat combined with dehydration. Water supposedly hydrates you better than sodas.Shorty82 wrote:All bottled drinks (at least the ones my shop carries), except for water, went up a few days ago.
Hubby would say it's a conspiracy against dentists. :D: He's convinced the only reason our kids don't have cavities the way he did growing up is that they don't drink sodas like he did. Heaven knows it's not because they're brushing more.

I can't remember the last time I actually bought soda (or water) from a store inside the parks.
For quite some time, I personally haven't felt any better walking around the parks while drinking water or soda. They both have the same "meh" effect on me. Though, if I have soda, I'll have water right after. Now sitting down for a while and eating some icecream, that's a different story. :D:

I'm thinking we hijack one of the rafts and circle the island letting the BBQ smoke drift over the unwashed masses. It'll drive the AP holders nutz.DisneyMom wrote:Son just won a little BBQ in a bag that is no bigger than a notebook ;)

We will also be armed with Water Warriors Gorgon water guns to hold off security.

We'll only surrender to Ernie but he has to have a hot dog with all the fixin's first. He may defect. :D:
