Don't forget our other distant cousin. . .

He advertises tires, though. So I don't have to worry about offending anyone by eating any of those.

They just taste bad.

Not to mention his many, many years in the 80s and 90s as the voice of Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, here in OC, the singer doing 'No Dogs Allowed' in Snoopy Come Home...

Zazu wrote:That may be because he had the same voice as the Ghost Host in the Haunted Mansion. Yup, Paul Frees voiced both of them, plus Captain Crunch, Toucan Sam, Ludwig von Drake, Inspector Fenwick, Boris Badenov, the narrator of Adventure Thru Inner Space, and Francis the Talking Mule!

He also did a whole lot of live radio, once inspiring the compliment, "He does a better Peter Laurie than I do." ... from Peter Laurie! Almost entirely crazy, too. He'd have fit in here just fine.
Zazu-

I thought for a moment you'd "mistyped" as I remembered Chill Wills as the voice of Francis but checking further found that Paul Frees replaced Wills at the end of the series. I should have known better than to doubt you.

Singing bust in the Haunted Mansion Graveyard (along with his vocal group the Mellowmen)
Actually, Thurl is the only graveyard bust who was in the Mellowmen. The others were just singers picked up for the gig.

A common fallacy, widely spread by the 'net.

Horshack- it means the cattle are dying. . .

Thanks Hobie! I just had to do a little maintainence on my internal compass there for a bit. I don't think I'll be flipping out again any time soon. Let's hope anyway lol.

Real life has had a way lately of reminding me that message boards are for entertainment and fun things and hanging out with nice people where you find them. Not for stressing over- no matter the venue.

I'll stay here in this thread where I'm safe LOL For the most part anyway.

. . .putting on my life preserver and wading in further. . .
