Re: Time to make a decision!
Those crocodiles are scary. Just how scary? Well, if a guest were to fall in the pit where they are, I am on strict orders to keep moving and stop once I am far enough away that I shouldn't be able to hear the screams. I should have 15-30 seconds before that show begins.
Please remain seated at all times while on the Safari.
And when I respond the way I do to the crocodiles, there is a bit of real fear of them in my voice.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Taking guests on Day 2 ... very impressive. Sorry I didn't get to stop and chat, but you and I had places to be, and neither one of them was the same place.

Re: Time to make a decision!
Well...I had a pretty good idea that that was the case. It was all but confirmed when I had one KS Driver who pretty much freaked out on some Asian tourists who wouldn't sit the hell down when they were told. The Driver stopped for a very long lecture to stress the importance of staying seated before we crossed the rickety "bridge" (the one that leans a little)... I honestly think she was about a second away from turning the truck around and going back to unload those SG's before we were even a minute into the ride. Out of curiosity, is there a way to do that? Are there, like, shortcuts back to unload or another safe place so you can get rid of people who are doing particularly dangerous things? I hadn't thought about it before, but it's kinda like a real Safari: you're pretty much on your own as the guide if people decide to get really dumb, and I guess you have to assume you're the only person in that truck with a working brain cell...Big Wallaby wrote:Those crocodiles are scary. How about it, is there an out? Thinking back, it reminded me a lot of the WAP in San Diego, but I am sure that WDW has some built in evac method, say in case of vehicle break down, and so on. ALthough it would seem to me they should just let an SG's WALK back. hehehe

Re: Time to make a decision!
One time that I was at Universal Studios Hollywood on the Tram tour, a SG was giving the Tram operator a bad time by speaking so loudly in the first row, the operator couldn't hear himself talk. He asked the SG to please speak quietly several times, to which the SG started arguing with the Tram guide, so pretty soon, here comes security with Jeeps to take SG and his family off the ride- SG starts to complain, "We can't leave, we need our wheelchairs". I think security didn't want to deal with these "Handicapped" people possibly dropping on them, so they allowed the tram to continue....So when the tour came back into the station, they get up, apparently ok to transfer, and exited the area. I never did see their wheelchairs, but I did see the tram guide seeming about to explode...hope he got a break to talk it out and relax a bit.

That BLOWS!!!!!!!!!I hate these lying sumbitches, the same ones who torture every CM and complain to get freebies. There should be a special place in hell for these idiots. I would have followed them, punched the dick in the mouth and quietly turned in my costume. I don't know if I could handle working at a Disney Park. I do NOT suffer fools gladly, quite the opposite. Maybe I should take anger management before I apply for a job, which is so funny to say, because I have always been the least angry human on the planet. I used to be a doormat and guess I just got tired of it in my forties and then when Womenopause hit, I just got mean... But those I love receive the utmost in my self control to not implode when I am feeling my womenopause quite strong. It is truly an uncontrollable thing, hormones out of whack, make me do and say things I would never have dreamt of when I was younger. I shock myself sometimes. Maybe I will just wait til the womenopause is over to apply for a job at WDW! Probably better off.DisneyMom wrote:One time that I was at Universal Studios Hollywood on the Tram tour, a SG was giving the Tram operator a bad time by speaking so loudly in the first row, the operator couldn't hear himself talk. Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
