Yes, you want to fight this kind of BS. Back in the mid 90's I was a Parade Lead at DL. I was called into the managers office and informed that I was said to be "touchy-feely" with some of the females. I knew instantly what this was about - getting rid of a male lead so that another girl's friend could be promoted, and I knew which leads it was. One was a much less than attractive female of 'generous proportions' whom no sober male would get touchy feely with! I had a week earlier put my hand FLAT on the back of her shoulder to get her attention to whisper something to her that needed to be said but couldn't be overheard by a parade performer. For this she reports me? And of course - this sounds like I'm molesting CM's, but since it's not a real written accusation, the women don't have to testify, nor do I have the right to meet my accusers. Luckily, I was able to turn this around completely, and the managers didn't so much as give me a verbal, but I was still very pissed and watched my back with those two. I honestly don't know how that would be "better" sleep.
