Gosh, here I go getting hungry again. Time for leftover pizza from Hungry Howie's.
Oh man I MISS Hungry Howies!!! we had one about three blocks away in a shopping center, but they folded (probably due to mis-management!) Loved the cheese crust and really goood meat lovers type of Pizza!!!

.....Speaking of food and New Years. What are your traditional foods for that day?. Pittsburgh area is usually Kielbasa and Saurkraut and mashed potatoes. A lot of ppl eat pork. I know down south black-eyed peas are a tradition so I kinda combine them both and have the peas on the side since Donnie doesnt like the kraut.
DW's father used to be a butcher many years ago, and owned his own shop in Boston, she got some of his receipies for sausage and a local shop made some for us..Tooo good, with boiled potatos and corn on the cob!! Add a cold brewski and its a great meal!!!

Adding a tiny bit of vanilla makes the best mashed potatoes, along with the requisite butter, garlic and milk. That is the way the southerners do it.
Talk about YUMMMMMMMMMMMY!!!!!!! I LOVE potatoes any way they are fixed, a loaded baked, home fried in a skillet with butter and onions, mashed, but my all time time fave is my mom's 1950's style scalloped potatoes. Those cannot be beat!!!!!!!! No potato flakes allowed!!!!!! Yoikes!
sooze*potatoqueen*slicker.
