Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
Our neighbors throw a huge Christmas Eve feast every year. They always have leftovers galore. About 8 PM last night we had three fire engines show up for a false alarm up the street and all the neighbors came out to see what was going on. My wife got dragged into the feast home and was loaded up with roast beef and cupcakes. I may be hyperglycemic in a couple of hours.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Heh.. we got Small One on the DVD we bought with Mickey's Christmas Carol. I'm not a huge fan of donkeys though. Mostly got the DVD for Mickey and for the christmas cartoon with Chip & Dale. They're my favorites!vixen101485 wrote:OMG...I havent seen that in like FOREVER. That was one of the cutest Xmas specials they used to run. You know what else I havent seen in a while is "Small One"
As far as potatoes: there are almost as many ways to cook a potato as there are to cook an egg. Personally, I peel first if I'm going to, otherwise, I cut first. I usually use Idaho Russets for bulk and Reds for their skins, boil them, mash while hot and combine with cream (or milk), butter, cheese, crushed or minced roasted garlic, a bit of fresh cut parsley, shaved sauteed onion, salt and pepper. I just found my new favorite "secret" ingredient: Mayan Sweet Onions. You've gotta try them. They're fantastic.
Yo, it's one universal law but two sides to every story
Three strikes and you be in for life, manditory
Four MC's murdered in the last four years
I ain't tryin to be the fifth one, the millenium is here.

A young boy must part with his beloved donkey, Small One". When he takes him into town to sell him, the only people who want to buy him are cruel. When all hope seems lost and Small One leads his master back to the tanners shop where he is willing to sacrifice his life. A miracle happens, and he is bought by Joseph to carry Mary to Bethlehem.
Another great Don Bluth story.

The donkeys I think of most are in Pinocchio, when the boys smoke the cigars and drink the beer and turn into donkeys!! Now there is a female statement ahead of its time!!!Kwahati wrote:Heh.. we got Small One on the DVD we bought with Mickey's Christmas Carol. I'm not a huge fan of donkeys though. MMMMMMM...that sounds yummy. I sometimes throw in sour cream instead of the milk if I have it.Kwahati wrote: As far as potatoes: there are almost as many ways to cook a potato as there are to cook an egg.
