I like ice cream but now am gluten free, miss Chubby Hubby (NOT)
Ben & Jerry's oh how I miss them

For the longest time, my two favorites were Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Brownie Chunk. Couldn't decide which I liked better.
Until the geniuses at Ben & Jerry's combined them into Half Baked! :D:

In fact, Half Baked was originally just a limited-time flavor, and it went away. Then after so many people (who apparently thought the same way I did) wrote and complained, they brought it back.

Re: Guests Demanding Refunds
when my friend and i went into city hall to get him a birthday sticker, there was a couple in their 30s wanting a refund because the park was too busy and they didn't think it would be busy. (this was december 28) the hostess tried explaining that it was a few days after christmas, a few days before new years, and the rose bowl was in town, so of course the park was going to be very busy. they contiuned to say they didn't know, the hostess asked where they were from, they said san diego.
i thought either these people are about the stupidest people on earth or they were trying to pull a scam. probabaly both. i didn't hear the end of the conversation, but it didn't seem like the hostess was going to grant them a refund.

Re: Guests Demanding Refunds
I had a winner the other day. Family of 6 went into the park at 930am and it was now almost 5pm. They wanted a refund because they didn't like the lines at the park. Mind you, this was last SATURDAY, and to be honest, it wasn't that busy!! We told him that we were sorry, but if you had said something within the first couple hours, we MIGHT have done something for you, but now that you've spent almost the entire day at the park, we weren't going to give you a refund. He was doing well and good and handling it well, we thought, until he asked for our lead, and totally lost it in front of all of us--and proceeded to tell us-- "They gave us a refund the LAST TIME WE DID THIS, AND WE WERE IN THE PARK LONGER THAN TODAY!!!!
Lead says well, that was then, and this is now, and I'm not going to give you a refund!!!! and sends him on his way.
I wish there was a way for us to put notes on tickets so that when this guest complained to guest communications they would see the notes and what this guest wanted from us and deny him any more comps..

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I can't believe there's not a system for that in GC. They have it at WDW for the restaurants...pattimelt wrote:I wish there was a way for us to put notes on tickets so that when this guest complained to guest communications they would see the notes and what this guest wanted from us and deny him any more comps..
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

CAL OSHA has a mandate that patients who have a history of being threatening to health care personnel are supposed to be Tagged to alert others, do the Parks have any such system?(Not saying this guy was dangerous, just thinking there must be similar problems at the parks. Additionally, the Cal OSHA mandate is probably only occasionally followed)

"I think we will go to Disneyland today and spend the day there and have fun and then, afterwards, let's see if we can get our money back by complaining about something. Disney always gives in to complaints!" What a shitball! And teaching his kids to try it out too, when they get older! :bbbat: :clubb: :duh:

Why can't we make them all go away? :kaboom:
