It doesn't matter if it's a dog face, jar head, wing wiper or swabbie, they all do the same thing. Human nature is so predictable.

I find it amusing how different my two colleges are in this aspect. My first college was a small all women's college (so no fraternities or sororities.) It was not a dry campus, in fact, alcohol could be bought at the Pub (alternative to the cafeteria). I never once saw somebody drunk and alcohol was no big deal.
The University I am at now is state university and therefore is dry. Being coed, there are fraternities and sororities, and underage drinking is a huge problem. One of the main reasons people select my university is for it's excellent Master's of Arts in Education. Having an MIP (Minor in Possession) is enough to get you deferred from the MAE as it is very difficult to get your teaching certification if you have alcohol related violations on your record. Especially if it involved minors. Freshman week always sees a huge number of MIP arrests, it always amazes me that people jeopardize their entire futures for a little bit of alcohol. This past school year we had two basketball players get drunk and steal a pizza delivery truck from a local company and procede to wreck it. A freshman got drunk, broke into somebody's apartment, and assaulted a police officer. This all happened before school even officially started. Then there is the fraternity that is on suspension because a pledge got drunk, fell down the stairs, and fractured his skull (he was not 21.) To the kid's credit, he took full responsibility for his actions.
What is it with boys and alcohol? I'm not saying that girls don't have problems too, but the vast majority of probles at our school at least comes from our male population.

I'm from San Diego State. 'Nuf said.
I've noticed that you have to do something especially stupid [drive a car, for example] for the police to write you up. I think the police are around just to contain them rather than regulate them.

It's common knowledget that the police in our town are out in force for freshman week lookingfor all of the MIPs. Even during the school year there are at least three a week. We aren't even the party school of the state, that would be MU. Our school is actually pretty tame, it's just the rowdy few who get into trouble.

Yep. Same here. It's just a few people that can mess it up for everyone.
This has got to be the quickest segway ever. From ghosts to college drinking. :D

Too many doughnut shops near San Diego State. Police must make choices. ;)

I have three, and I can't decide which to add to the list, so here's your chance to choose:
Shake Head #1 :shake1:
Shake Head #2 :shake2:
Shake Head #3 :shake3:
Cast your votes and the winner gets to stay!
