Now if only we could get rid of the balloons on the monorails and busses ...

We saw both Teal and Blue out yesterday (Blue was on the Ecpot line). It's very easy to confuse the two, even when they're close to each other, they look similar. I find the Deltas are the best was to tell the two apart.

I actually like the new color. I like it a lot. Can't wait to see what the 12th color will be.
I just wish that they didn't leave out the D's again.

I must be gettin old. I always thought 'teal' was a bluish/green or a greenish/ blue. Looks like baby blue to me.

Maybe they are trying to use all bright colors. Like when they painted Yellow this year, it's a brighter shade of yellow. I would imagine that if more green was added to Teal's stripe it would be considerably darker.
But then again, that's what teal is a bit of a darker color. Like on Monorail Black...I don't think there is a bright shade of black...

How about a whiter shade of pale next?

I got a chance to see Teal yesterday running on the express line. Teal was being taken off the line, from what the CMs told us to get the air compressor checked, so they shifted the crowd from express to resort.
The color definitely looks like Monorail Blue. I too would have thought it would have been more greenish.
Bigger pic
One of the CMs that was riding with us noted that Teal has a newer different style rear strobe. When we were leaving MK that night - I noticed the strobe on teal was incredibly bright and visible while entering the Grand Floridian (viewing from the MK station).

I noticed the same thing from the YouTube video.
Looks like they are finally switching over to the LED strobes.
Like on all the new police cars and newer emergency vehicles, their flashing lights are super bright now. Rapidly flashing LED modules are replacing strobe tubes.
Makes sense to utilize them on the monorails. LED's last just about forever, and they are extremely bright and draw little current.

The color in the picture looks more like robin's egg blue. Teal is more like the monorail in the signature. It's a medium-dark green-blue.
