Well, if the weather is right I usually swim. I'm not going to be the guy with the bar of soap in the river though.

Use Ivory soap. Biodegradable and it floats.

Yes, BTDT.

When I was a kid my folks always had a bar of ivory down on the dock, they still might. get wet. lather up, and dive back in. Very refreshing after work!

I keep on thinking of the Irish Spring commercials. People using the soap to stay fresh smelling.

yes, but out in the wilderness. When I go camping with my sister and her hubby, we camp out for a few days and not shower. Ripe, yes, but extra deoderant when needed.

It is more fun camping out in the wilderness. We went camping at Big Basin. There was a group of noisy campers. That night, a few campers slept with their tent door open a bit. A few creatures as skunks made a nice welcome party about 4 am. Yup! They needed a bath!

Soap in river isn't bad...but fishies tend to get in way!

I vote for solar heated shower...yes a nice big baggie thing that hangs in the tree and gets heated for a real hot shower...very refreshing!

Oh and Doonesbury is still on the topic thru today..check it out. Funny as all get out.

I'm not too worried about soap in the river, I'm just not THAT guy, Darph is!
