That reminds me of this old amusement park near where I was born in Pittsburgh. It's called Kennywood and they have a section called "Lost Kennywood" where they put back in a lot of rides they had removed. I think that would be such a great idea at WDW but that would never happen. :(

This is a very good analysis of one direction Disney should consider. With the leading edge of the baby boomer generation now hitting their 60s there are opportunities to consider. One option might be to set up a new area in the park for older guests ala Toon Town. It could be called Geezer Land.

"Applesauce Cafe" for refreshments of a pre-masticated variety!

Now Hobie, you know that once you cross under the train station at the Magic Kingdom, EVERYONE becomes a kid again. No Geezers there. :D:

How about a "faraday pavillion, where ALL cell phones won't work!

Geezer Land would be beyond a new trestle by the Tomorrow Land station. As soon as you cross under you'll need a walker, wheelchair or ECV.

No..that would be SG land, as most don't really need them, just get them to get the head of the line pass!

IMO all show and ride buildings should be built like Faraday cages so SGs who are to stupid to turn off their ringers won't bother everybody else. Putting in repeaters wired to outside antennas for the frequencies that cast radios and pagers use will allow those to work but will stop cellphones from working.

I don't understand leaving the ringers on at Disney anyway, outside it is to noisy to hear the phone and inside most places a ringing phone is inappropriate and rude. I always put my phone on manner mode where it only vibrates, doesn't ring.
