Now, when you say "Bugger King", is "bugger" in English/Australian English? If so, make sure you're careful whose kids you use that term around... :p:

Ah, I miss Jack in the Box. Not as much as I miss Burgerville, but Jack in the Box was always good for when you needed food and it was late, and you always had some level of quality available.

Of course, if you really want the innuendo, you have the nickname many of my friends gave JitB... Jack in the Crack...

Cranbiz, I'm from MA and I've never seen a Jack-In-The-Box or Sonic anywhere in New England, much less been to one. I think the first time I saw them was when I was 18 and spent a week in Oklahoma City. They had every kind of fast-food joint imaginable. They even had a local specialty called "Mama Lou's" that was open 24 hours - but it didn't look too appetizing.

Can you talk to someone down there to get them to open an Earl of Sandwich up here in Boston? :D:

Feel fortunate that you don't have the fast food joints scattered everywhere. I grew up in middle America East Bay Area of San Fran and that is all we had. My first job? Yep, at a McDonalds.

The only thing you need to know when in Texas about fast food is Whataburger. I know they are in a few states in the south. I know the folks out in Cali will disagree, but I think Whataburger is better than In-N-Out. I've never been that impressed with In-N-Out myself.
