We wish we knew why too. Maybe because it is suspended? In terms of capacity, it is almost the same as all the other dark rides, with the exception of Snow which only has 10 cars compared to the 12 to 13 cars on all the other rides.

We think it is funny because Matterhorn will barely reach a 20 minute line if we we're running one side with 9 sleds while Pan easily hits 25 + minutes. (I know capacity has to do with the line and I'm guessing about one-sided operation but its just funny to think about.)

^well, for starters, how can peter pan match the capacity of pinochhio if pinocchio's cars seat 4 but peter pan is only 1 row, 2 adults? The dispatch interval seems about the same. Correct me if cars are sent out faster at peter pan than other classics. Mr toad has small cars too, and seems to be the 2nd longest line in fantasyland. Alice in wonderland seems pretty popular also. I never see lines at pinocchio or snow white unless its between noon and 8 pm on a weekend.

But yeah matterhorn's capacity seems about similar to peter pans since cars there are sent out far less often, about 3 times longer between each dispatch at peter pan. The cars are much bigger than at peter pan though, so it balances that out. You've got me on that one.

I had the reason Pan's line is so much longer explained to me once. I was told, that fewer people fit in each vehicle, and that because it's suspended people think it's cooler. That's how it was explained to me, by an ex-Classics CM, but maybe capacity has changed, it's been a long time since I've been on any of those rides.

What do you guys think about late fastpass arivals? Does it make any difference... so far no CM has turned me back for coming late... but I use a scheduling software online to time my rides so I never wait in line.

In July of '04 I only waiting MAX 10 minutes... I used the single rider que on Splash and only long wait was Tower (which was inside que) and matterhorn... but even matterhorn was pretty short.

Anyway the website is : http://www.fastpass.com

works good! I don't know if alot of people start using it that it that it will keep working so good... but it works for me.

We accept late arrivals (at least at Mansion we do, I assume its a park wide policy). It doesn't bother me if they come late. I perfer them to come late over early, then I don't have to put up with their whinning about waiting 10 minutes for their time.
