Remember when Bill Gates said no one will ever need more than 8K of memory? I just bought a 3TB drive for $114.

I first taught myself BASIC programming on a TRS-80 with 4 KB of RAM. My dad's first generation IBM PC had 128 KB onboard. A decade later, my first hard drive stored a whopping 120 MB.

Now I have a micro SD card in my phone, the size of a fingernail, which stores 64 GB, over 500 times what that clunky hard drive held. Mind boggling.

Think "smilie", not "YouTube". If that's just not enough to keep you happy, you can always host it elsewhere.

I couldn't get the Marsupial Welcome graphic any smaller and retain its current level of awesomeness -- it already suffers because of the GIF color palette limitation. But I'm happy just to keep in on Dropbox and do an image link to it when we do a welcome.
