BRWombat wrote:Pretty good. Concealed carry is legal in Texas with a permit. Most property owners, businesses, hospitals, etc., can post signs prohibiting concealed carry on their premises. Certain categories of license-holders, including judges, peace officers, district attorneys, and (ahem) city attorneys, are exempt from the restrictions and can carry anywhere.
Don't mess with Texas. :D:
And yet for some reason, I don't feel at all safe there. Whoda thunk it? :brazilia:

If it might help you relax, just remember that licensed carriers are checked for a clean criminal record and proficiency, as well as a bunch of other requirements. People carrying in your state without a license... aren't.

The guy from the OP was licensed to carry concealed and he had it in his back pocket while riding a bumpy ride. I understand it was loaded with hollow points, too. Not quite relaxation worthy, imho.

At least if he shoots someone with the hollow points it's less likely to go through them and into someone else.

Oh, well I feel much better now. We all should carry guns. In Frontierland we could reenact the gun fight at OK Corral. This will be more fun if we can be assured that we will only shoot one person at a time.

You know... once upon a time at Disneyland... they did. Twice each afternoon!
Very little collateral damage, as I recall.

Not sure if they still do, maybe only in summer, but the Train Bandits did a shootout in Calico Square at Nazi Fairy Farm aka Knott's Berry Farm. Hilarious.
