Connection 2 is....The Big Red Boat!
When Disney first started cruising, they sailed with Premier Cruise Lines. Premier called their private island Blue Lagoon, but the official name is Salt Cay. Salt Cay was used in the opening shots for Gilligan's Island.
and the rest was shot on a outdoor lot in la near a freeway. denver once said, during the rush hours they couldnt shoot because the freeway traffic could be heard on the outdoor set.

This goat is close to choking but my gold star from Zazu is keeping me going.
Could it be The Wellingtons? They were a folk group who performed the theme songs for several TV shows, including Gilligan's Island and Davy Crockett. They were also signed by Walt Disney to record the theme song for The Wonderful World of Color.
Gilligan's Island producer, Sherwood Schwartz, also wrote the musical.
OK, a long way around but it makes sense in my head.

Okay, I'm going to call that one close enough.
Sherwood Schwartz retired to central Florida, where he and two of his children wrote the musical version, but had trouble finding a producer interested in putting it on stage. Stage did -- that is STAGE, the WDW Cast Theatrical Troup. They presented the musical to Schwartz, and a select group of Cast Members and friends, in the Walt Disney Theater behind the Town Square Exhibition Hall.
Was it any good? Why would you expect it to be any different from the TV version?
Another goat-choker tomorrow.

Zazu, have you tried Nasalcrom for your allergies? It's a nasal spray that doesn't interact with anything, but boy does it knock nasal allergies out of the park! If you can't find it in your local drugstore, try drugstore.com .

Here's one I thought was easy, but it gave my co-workers serious gas:
The Walt Disney Company (including its predecessors) has only had a few men serve as its President. One of them shares a birthday with one of the "Nine Old Men". Who are these two?

And a Happy Birthday to both of them -- that would be Ward Kimball and Frank Wells, both born on March 4th! (1914 & 1932 respectively.)
Now I'll take "Stuff Only Zazu Knows" for $600, Alex... :D:

Okay, figures the Frank 'n' Ward link was known to this crowd. Remember, I only said these stumped the folks I work with, not that they should stump you!
Next, sequel time!
In which two Disney animated films did J.J. Fate make an appearance?
